Having started out in the spare room of their flat they have become two of the most influential designers of the 20th Century. The designs are beautiful,timeless and seem to be imbued by the warmth & humour of their designers.
La Chaise is still an extraordinary looking piece of furniture amazingly the design dates from 1948! Produced for Museum of Modern Art in New York, it was designed to allow for various sitting positions. Yes it is expensive but I can think of few design that have quite this much impact.
