Watermelon Clock  George Nelson's clocks from the 1950's are a great visual reminder of those optimistic times. Vitra have faithfully recreated the designs for us to enjoy now.

Nelson is best known for the wall clocks but Watermelon is a mantle/desk clock and although it is obvious where the inspiration came from it has that 50's sci-fi feel too.
Two tone lacquered wood and metal.
