The dining chair comes in two versions – with and without armrests. The chairs were designed in 1964 and are part of a series that also includes a dining table. They were inspired by the stringent functional idiom of American Shaker culture.

The combination of oak and butt leather, also featured in Børge Mogensen’s Spanish Chair, gives the chairs a strong, robust appearance.

Seat and back can be tightened as required.
