BL5 adjustable wall bracket lamp by Bestlite

Born out of the rebellious Bauhaus design revolution during the 1920s, bestlite brings functionality and simplicity to the fore. The era sought to break down barriers between practical crafts, industrialisation and fine art and had the greatest influence on 20th century design. Robert Dudley Best's lamp gained prominence in 1930, the first example of Bauhaus in the UK. It achieved worldwide recognition when Winston Churchill placed one on his desk in Whitehall.

Adjustable in height, wall bracket lamp with chrome stem and curved neck. Bell-shaped shade and wall brackets in matt black, matt ivory or glossy white. Shade interior glossy white. On/off switch located on the power cable. Also available as a hard-wired (unswitched) version.
