Maui Soft by Kartell

 

The highly practical Maui Soft Dining Chair is the fabric covered version of the original Maui Chair. It further establishes Maui as a firm favourite for domestic and commercial environments. Initially designed in the mid nineties, Maui was the first of its kind from Kartell to incorporate no ribbing, tracery, metal supports or reinforcements to sustain the back. Maui differed using its pioneering construction and engineering philosophy, of a single mould, for strength and aesthetics.Maui Soft is a tribute to Vico Magistretti, developed and upholstered in Kvadrat Divina 3 fabric which offers a uniform block colour. Soft to the touch, with a felt like appearance, Divina 3 is hardwearing and highly functional.

 

Still exhibiting the infamous curved shell, its clean and elegant lines are emphasised along with its versatility. A chrome-plated steel base elevates the padded contours of the seat certifying comfort. Beautiful to look at and even better to sit on the Maui Soft Chair stacks up to 4 chairs high.
