Ligne Roset Pumpkin armchair

The Ligne Roset Pumpkin armchair, designed by Pierre Paulin, is a bold and instantly recognisable piece from one of Ligne Roset’s most celebrated collections. Originally created for the private apartments of the Élysée Palace in the 1970s, Pumpkin reflects Paulin’s signature approach to sculptural comfort, with rounded, generous forms that invite the body to relax.

Its low, enveloping shape gives the armchair a soft, cocoon-like feel, while the bucket-style back and curved seat create a relaxed and supportive sitting position. The design is playful yet elegant, with a distinctive silhouette that works equally well as a statement lounge chair or as part of a wider living room arrangement.

The Pumpkin armchair is available in the standard armchair version, a high back version, and a swivelling high back version. Each option keeps the same rounded, organic character, while offering different levels of support and functionality.
