The Vitra ID Cloud office chair, designed by Antonio Citterio, combines advanced ergonomics with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Its distinctive backrest features a flexible shell with an integrated breathable membrane, designed to respond intuitively to the user’s movements while providing consistent support throughout the working day.
The ID Chair range is built around a shared technical platform that allows for different backrest styles, each tailored to specific preferences and working styles. Within this system, the ID Cloud stands out for its soft, flexible backrest with an integrated membrane, creating a supportive yet more inviting sitting experience. Like all models in the range, it offers a high level of adjustability and can be specified in a variety of finishes, making it a versatile choice for both professional and home office settings.

- Seat mechanism: FlowMotion mechanism, lockable in upright sitting position. Optionally with or without synchronised forward tilt and with or without seat depth adjustment. Individual adjustment of backrest resistance and forward tilt. Optional AutoMotion mechanism with automatic weight adjustment and two backrest tension settings. Optionally with or without seat-depth adjustment. Mechanism can be locked in upright sitting position.
- Backrest: height-adjustable backrest with a three-part construction: frame in polyamide, membrane in TPE and knit cover. Back connection in basic dark or soft grey. Knit cover in Duo Knit.
- Armrests: 2D armrests with adjustable height and width or 3D armrests with adjustable height, width and depth and 360° swivel function. Optionally available with ring armrests for use in conference settings.
- Base:Â five star base, in matching colour to frame, also available with 4 star base – please contact us.
