Vitra ID Trim office chair

With its compact padding, the backrest of the Vitra ID Trim office chair conveys a sense of classic elegance and quality craftsmanship. The sandwich construction with integrated lumbar support provides the comfort of an upholstered backrest while being almost as slim as a mesh backrest – offering an alternative to both of these construction types for office chair backrests.

The ID Chair range is built around a shared technical platform that supports a variety of backrest options, each suited to different working styles and preferences. Within this system, the ID Trim is defined by its slim, upholstered backrest, offering a more structured, tailored feel while maintaining ergonomic support. Like all models in the range, it provides a high level of adjustability and can be specified in a wide selection of finishes, making it a versatile choice for both professional and home office environments.

Details: 

• Seat mechanism: FlowMotion mechanism, lockable in upright sitting position. Optionally with or without synchronised forward tilt and with or without seat depth adjustment. Individual adjustment of backrest resistance and forward tilt. Optional AutoMotion mechanism with automatic weight adjustment and two backrest tension settings, Optionally with or without seat-depth adjustment. Mechanism can be locked in upright sitting position.
• Backrest: Optional height-adjustable lumbar cushion. Cover in fabric or leather.
• Armrests: 2D armrests with adjustable height and width or 3D armrests with adjustable height, width and depth and 360° swivel function. Optionally available with ring armrests for use in conference settings.
• Seat:  Seat and back covers in fabric or leather. Leather covers are not recommended for chairs with forward tilt, since a leather surface might cause users to slide off the seat.
• Base: five star base, in matching colour to frame, also available with 4 star base – please contact us.
