Historic photographs of Prouvé’s home reveal his experimental approach to lighting, showing the Potence paired with a variety of lamp shades, including both his own designs and those created by others.
the Vitra Abat-Jour Conique lamp shade is the first lampshade designed for Potence by Prouvé in 1947 and is intended for use with the Potence and Petite Potence lamps. It is simply fitted over the light bulb and can be removed again when needed.
