Jean Prouvé designed the original Potence wall lamp for his own home in Nancy, featuring a simple exposed light bulb mounted on a long, pivoting steel arm supported by a tension wire. Embodying his functionalist approach and minimalist aesthetic, this elegant design was later developed into a range of different sizes to suit a variety of interiors.
The Petite Potence retains the elegant proportions of the original Potence while offering a more compact scale, making it perfectly suited to smaller interiors. Its 103 cm pivoting arm features a durable powder-coated finish in colours inspired by Jean Prouvé’s original palette. A high-quality textile-covered cable and a dimmable LED bulb enhance both its functionality and refined appearance. With its understated, minimalist aesthetic, the Petite Potence complements a wide range of spaces, from dining and living rooms to offices, studios and cafés.
